    "I sent my daughter to Kath Clerkin in order to give her more confidence in maths.  She felt she had missed some of the basics at primary school and was having problems understanding some of the Year 7 curriculum.  I sensed that really it was a confidence thing as she had attained a Level 5 at the end of Year 6 but had dropped down to a Level 4a in the middle of Year 7.  However, this could have turned into a bigger problem had we let this continue.  She went to Kath on a weekly basis and enjoyed it from day one.  Kath gave her confidence and was brilliant at understanding her needs, explaining the basics to her again and going over current work.   I would highly recommend her.  My daughter has just had her end-of-year exams and is back up to a 5a, only two marks off a 6c."
